Kalindi College, one of the prestigious institutions of Delhi University, was founded in 1967 and Non-Collegiate Center for Education of Women Board was started in the year 1972-73. The College imparts quality education to nearly 2000 students. Trying to cater to the needs of contemporary times, the College offers various professional courses. Students secure positions in the Merit List of the University. The College is constantly working for education and empowerment of girls particularly from the underprivileged section of the society.

Kalindi College Alumni Meet is being organized for the first time for all old students of the College on 6th February, 2010 at 9.30 a.m. in College premises.

2. Ms Krishna Tirath, Honorable Minister of State for Women and Child Development (IC), Government of India. Inter-University and National Player Volleyball.
3. Dr. Anjali Yadav working on Malaria Vaccine at Walter Reid Army Research Institute Washington DC, USA.
4. Ekavli Khanna (nee Chopra) working in Bengali serials and films.

Sports Women who have made College proud:

1. Ms Sarita Gupta- Inter-University and International player Volleyball. First Batch1970.
2. Ms Ramwati- Volleyball player, working as national coach, Govt. of India referred her name for Ph.D in Germany.
3. Ms Neelam- Delhi University best National level, Inter-University Gymnast although one eye was visually handicapped.
4. Ms Archana- Delhi University Gold Medalist for Judo for three years. Black belt holder.
5. Ms Indu Sharma- Inter-University and National Gold Medalist in Judo. Black belt holder. Working as national referee.
