Actively functioning since the introduction of the discipline in 1967, its objective is to promote collaboration among the undergraduate students of Political Science beyond classroom learning. It is a forum for students to express themselves by participating in activities like debates, paper-reading and essay-writing competitions, organising youth parliament and mock United Nations, inviting speakers to get an expert opinion on the current socio-economic issues of national and international importance, displaying and improving their organisational skills by way of organising visit to parliament and educational-cum-recreational excursions, having panel discussions, quizzes and so on. All these activities give the young learners an exposure to express themselves in multifaceted ways which might not be possible in formal class-room learning process but which nevertheless are important.
