Kalindi College, University of Delhi, would be celebrating its Golden Jubilee Year in the academic session 2016-17. During this year the college plans to hold variousacademic and cultural activities starting with an Inaugural Function in July-August 2016. After that the different departments of the college would organize activities such as National Seminar, Symposium, KaviSamellan, Film Festival, Sports Events etc.These activities would continue for the entire year.
A documentary film on Fifty Years of Kalindi College is being produced by Dr. Saroj Dutta of History Dept. She also plans to holda photo exhibitionshowcasing the continuous growth of the college in various fields of activities.

The English Dept. plans to organize a Film Festival and the Hindi Dept. a Kavi Samellan. The Sanskrit and Math Dept. are planning a two day National Seminar. The Dept. of Physical Education has given a proposal for an Invitational Inter-College tournament of different games, Quiz Competition and a one day Workshop. The Political science Dept. plans to organize an International Seminar and an Inter- University Youth Parliament Competition. They are also planning an Inter- College Political–Science Golden Jubilee Festival “CHAUPAL” since the Department was constituted in 1967 along with the inception of the College.The Commerce and Economics Dept. has proposed a detailed programmer of various academic activities.The Dept. of Geography is planning to organize five academic activities in the Golden Jubilee year. This includes an International Seminar, workshops on e-learning Resource and Geo Spatial Techniques and two projects on Water for All and Lives in Smart Cities and Mapping Vulnerability. The SC/ST CELL also plans to organize a National Seminar and a Workshop. The Gandhi Study Circle is planning a day long programmer on Gandhi. Besides, on 15th August and 26th January the National Festivalswould be celebrated. The college is looking forward to the participation of our alumni and plans to organize our alumni function on a large scale.
